Arte Povera

From October 9, 2024 to January 20, 2025, the Paris Bourse de Commerce is hosting a major exhibition dedicated to Arte Povera, the Italian art movement that emerged in the 1960s. The exhibition traces the birth of the movement and its international influence.

The exhibition brings together 250 works by the thirteen leading artists of Arte Povera. These artists, mainly from Turin, Genoa, Bologna, Milan and Rome, redefined the codes of contemporary art by exploring new materials and approaches.

Arte Povera is a poetic exploration of so-called “poor” materials (coal, wool, fire) and the link between nature and culture. A must-see for contemporary art lovers.
