Immerse yourself in the Universe of Marilyn Monroe
This exhibition is dedicated to Marilyn Monroe, Hollywood's greatest star. Discover the determined, ambitious woman behind the legendary icon who left her mark on movies, fashion and song with her sweet, smooth voice. Not least during her famous "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" in 1962, in honor of John F. Kennedy.
Sixty years after her death, Marilyn Monroe's influence lives on. "The Monroe Experience" invites you to relive the charm of the 1950s and explore the vibrant life of this Hollywood icon.
The exhibition offers a deep dive into the life of Marilyn Monroe. Thanks to a graphic novel, photographs by Milton Greene, and a sound, visual and musical installation, you'll discover the star from a whole new angle. Far from the glamour of the spotlight, you'll meet the dreamy, ambitious woman behind the character.
The "Memory Box" transports you into the evolution of the young Marilyn, who dreamed of becoming an actress. Through a virtual reality headset, Marilyn will accompany you as if she had never left, allowing you to explore her face, her voice and her intimate world.
Finally, a play based on Marilyn Monroe's only autobiographical text, "Unfinished Confession", will be offered to visitors. The play recounts her childhood, her experiences in the film world and her thoughts on the relationship between men and women.
