Notre-Dame de Paris
After several years of restoration, Notre-Dame de Paris will reopen its doors on December 7 and 8, 2024 !
From December 8 to 16, individual visits will be possible on weekdays from 3.30pm to 10pm, and on weekends with reduced opening hours. Normal opening hours (7.45am-7pm) will then resume. You'll have to wait until March to book, with slots available from Whitsun for groups from the Paris region and September 2025 for others.
A dedicated application, “Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris”, allows you to reserve slots, discover tour itineraries, and even register as a pilgrim for privileged access from February. For those who don't use the app, a queue with no guaranteed entry will be set up.
Two daily masses will mark the first week, before returning to the normal rhythm. Registration will not be required to attend, but separate queues for worshippers and tourists will facilitate access.
While admission to the cathedral remains free, a charge will be made to visit the Treasury, where liturgical objects are displayed. This choice, according to the Church, reflects a commitment to universal accessibility of this emblematic site.
Just an 8-minute walk from the Hôtel du Jeu de Paume, visitors can reach Notre-Dame de Paris directly from the hotel by crossing the Pont Saint-Louis.
Patience and anticipation are therefore required to rediscover this restored Parisian jewel !
