The little characters of the Opéra metro station
Since March, small silhouettes have appeared in the Opéra metro station, where lines 3, 7 and 8 of the Paris metro meet and which serve the historic and prestigious Opéra Garnier.
Social networks have captured the characters of the station to share these new inhabitants to the world. But who are they?
These 1,000 silhouettes actually represent the artists of the Opéra national de Paris: dancers, singers, musicians, bandmaster, but also costumers, stage managers and all the participants in the world of the Opera.
Next to a few silhouettes is a QR Code to scan from your smartphone, which takes you into a musical dimension as if you were at the Opera! Eight random pieces are played, from the sound of the voice of the hostesses welcoming you to the musical work that we imagine in mind ... Enough to amaze your journeys!
The exhibition “The Secrets of the Opera” was imagined by Itsok in collaboration with the RATP and a sound experience imagined by Victor Nebbiolo of the Castri and Valeria Zane, to unveil the backstage underground of the Operas de Paris and continue to bring the actors of this beautiful universe to life.
Although the Operas are still closed, discover the Opéra Garnier which opens its doors virtually for an exceptional visit, from your home by clicking here (https://www.operadeparis.fr/magazine/350-ans/les-secrets-du-palais-garnier)
